Weekend Round-Up: July 27-29

Woohoo, it may actually be a nice weekend from Friday-Sunday. Granted, it won’t be as nice as say Wednesday-Thursday, but heck I’ll just take one last sunnyish weekend in July. And with that, your weekend awaits:

-I’m pretty bummed I can’t make it to Saturday’s yoga in the park. So will someone go in my behalf and rub it in as to how awesome it is? Thanks!

-Haven’t been to a Backyard Barter event yet? Shame on you! It’s awesome. I’ve been to two and can definitely confirm that you will leave with so many great things. Go to tomorrow’s event in Shoreline and tell us what you bartered.

-Want some good food with your horse betting? Who doesn’t. Go to Emerald Downs at 9am tomorrow, take a Emerald AM tour and get free admission to the Mobile Food Corral.

-Go to the Q Café for the first ever Kitchen Consignment sale in Seattle! Blah blah blah, you had me at consignment.

-Menchies in Kirkland is having a ribbon cutting ceremony, complete with free fro-yo, shirts and balloons. BUT, get this—the first 20 guests in line also get free fro-yo for a month! We all know where Aubrey will be today at 11am on the dot.

-In case you missed our awesome post about 8 oz Burgers celebrating National Burger Day tomorrow with FREE, yep FREE, sliders here’s your second reminder. You’re welcome.

-Clips of Faith is far from being a religious movie festival (which is what I thought when I first read the titled event). Remember, this is uber liberal Seattle after all. This coast-to-coast not-to-be-missed short filmathon is brought to you by its creative fan filmmakers and can range from drama to comedy from one movie to the next. And did I mention that you can mix your culture with 3oz samplers of New Belgium classics? Beer and movies. It’s the new peanut butter and jelly.

-Ooh, why did I look at these awesome coupons when I should be saving for so many other things. Well, I may just have to stuff my face with the amazing Kylie’s Chicago Pizza (worth the long ass wait) and get some digs at Show Pony, because this Sunday’s Fremont ‘Only in Seattle’ coupons are too good to be true!

And that’s all we got for you, folks. Did we miss something? Let us know. Tell us below, talk to us on Facebook or tweet something pretty on Twitter. We love hearing from you and we hope you have a fabby happy weekend.

I should note that I wrote this when it was 80 degrees and I was super hopeful that the weekend would be just like that. Silly me.
