Update: The contest has ended, but you can still get tickets to The Sideshow at any participating venue (Under the Needle Tattoo, Clever Bottle, The Upstairs, and The Crocodile). Yay-Today will be stopping by and so should you!
One of my favorite books is The Night Circus. I’m not going to spoil it for you because you really should go to your local bookstore and buy it immediately. But I will tell you it is one of the most stunning books I’ve ever read. In this magical circus, there are many tents, each with a different theme. The descriptions of each tent have stayed with me for months. Hauntingly beautiful, this book is.
Now you have the opportunity to bring a bit of The Night Circus into your own life with Belltown Arts Revue’s newest monthly event, The Sideshow. This Thursday, April 5th, four Belltown businesses will be presenting art, music, burlesque, and more. And you are invited.
The Sideshow begins at 8pm. Participating this month will be Under the Needle Tattoo, Clever Bottle, The Upstairs, and The Crocodile. Featuring art by Joe Vollan, Bingo, Alex Johnson, and 179, as well as music by Carolina and the Long Shots, Karma Bomb, and many others, this event is not to be missed. The best part? The event is free, though if you purchase a VIP ticket ($10, available at any participating venue) you will receive discounts on drinks and food, as well as free entry to The Crocodile.
The BEST best part? We are giving away two (!) VIP tickets! And here’s how you win:
The contest is short- entries are only accepted until midnight tonight (Tuesday). So enter! Dress in your circus finery, ready yourself for a night of whimsy, and come see what Belltown is sure to be talking about all weekend.
This event is going to be amazing!
I’m am very very excited for Thursday!
I ordered the Night Circus just last Sunday after some great reviews. I love The Upstairs! You can even get a free hi-five from the bartender if you check in on Foursquare. I would love to win 2 tickets to the event.
Entering to win! Loved the Night Circus and probably will read it every couple years. Also love Clever Bottle in belltown.
My favorite Seattle artist is Mary Iverson (http://maryiverson.com/node/6), my favorite Belltown businesses are Pintxo/The Upstairs and List, and I’ve never read The Night Circus!
I am going to leave some art behind at every stop I make on Thursday.
Entering to win. This sounds amazing and now I want to read the night circus.
Never saw Night Circus but I love everything Belltown so count me in!
Bringing some art back to Belltown in a serious way? I can get behind that.
