Hey ya’ll. The Yay-Today gang is on vacay until the new year, but since we know that you still love to read us daily we didn’t want to leave you hanging. That’s why every day this week we’re bringing back some of our favorite posts. We hope you enjoy them as much as we enjoyed writing them. Happy Holidays from all of us!
When Miss Aubrey says a place is good, you learn to listen. Case in point: Madison Park Conservatory. Aubrey actually hasn’t gone to this particular restaurant, but she has gone to their taco truck which is now actually not a truck anymore – because apparently tacos can also be made in restaurants (who knew). And to quote Aubrey’s enthusiasm for anything Madison Park Conservatory related:
“If they can do to burgers what they do to tacos, then this will be GOOD.”
So long story short – she had me at tacos. Then I read some reviews of the actual restaurant. Then I looked at pictures and a sample menu. Then I drooled right on the keyboard. Why haven’t I gone here yet? It’s everything I love. From their Aubrey-approved tacos that they prepare on Sundays next to a live DJ to their rotating menu they post on Facebook, this place is worth checking out.
Update!
Want to see just how delicious the eats at Tako Truk really are? I just got back from another visit and am here to share some pics. Take a gander at the tacos, oysters and beer and sangria we just feasted on. Best part of the night? I went with a group of 7 very hungry people who consumed several ice cold beers, a couple bottles of sangria and WAY more than enough food to go around (all while enjoying ridiculously good, down-to-earth service from one of the fanciest restaurants in town), we all got out of there for about $25 a person. Seriously people, put Tako Truk at the top of your to-eat list. It’s worth the drive to Madison Park.
