By now if you haven’t finished your shopping, then you might be just a tad on the screwed side. BUT there’s a little thing called Etsy that could possibly save your day if you still need a gift or two to throw into a shipping box. My suggestion: Email the local vendor and arrange a meeting spot – thus avoiding the shipping fees and getting to know the seller. Whenever I look on Etsy, I always first look locally just for these very reasons. Plus, it also means if I don’t like the thing I don’t have to resend it back – I can just decline right then and there and not feel obligated to keeping something I don’t want or need because the item wasn’t the true color I saw on the web, or it didn’t feel like I thought or it’s not the thing I imagined at all.
With that intro all said and done, I introduce to you a list of some cutey things I’ve seen on Etsy for $10 or less and all attainable in Seattle. Yes, there is such a thing as getting great gifts on the internet for cheap and lucky for you – I already did the research:
-If you were to buy a gift for Miss Aubrey (re: someone who has some fashion know-how) then you’ll throw a feathery headband in her stocking.
-For the hippie friend (re: me) these dainty mushrooms are perfect for any terrarium or backyard.
-For every kind of friend or family member, these Keep Calm posters will surely delight.
-Know someone who loves vintage stuff? Who doesn’t. SEAS and PEAS has these adorable magnets up for grabs and these Golden Girls buttons are perfect for your bestie.
-I do love me some blank notecards. While I normally buy them in bulk at SAM or Elliot Bay Bookstore, individual cards like this one and this one are so fun you just have to buy them.
-Now that Movember is over, treat your male friend, mate or Dad to some good, ol’ smelling shaving soap that isn’t Old Spice.
