An Uber-Good Deal: Credits, Coffee & Treats at Uber’s Open House

Open Houses are probably the most underrated genre of holiday party. They usually involve a LOT of cookies, you don’t have to awkwardly sing Happy Birthday to anybody and, unlike the four ugly sweater parties you got invited to this year, they aren’t tainted by jaded irony. So when a business that I love throws a party that I love and tops it off by giving out a whole bunch of freebies, I consider it a Christmas miracle. And that’s why I’m letting you know about Uber’s Open House Party, where you can grab FREE holiday treats, eggnog coffee and $20 credits for new customers all week long.

You already know that Uber is Seattle’s very best transportation option in the “treat yo’self” category. When Seattlites don’t want to or can’t drive somewhere and don’t have time or patience (or the necessary bodyguard) for the bus, we call Uber to drive us around in style. For about the same price as a cab, but roughly a hundred times more reliable (and cleaner), Uber provides efficient, classy transportation services anywhere in the city (and for just $50 from downtown to the airpot!).  And this week they’re celebrating the holidays- every single one of them- by opening their doors to fans, customers and freebie-seekers Monday-Friday from 1:00-3:00pm.

Swing by their fancypants new offices a(1508 E Olive Way, Seattle, WA 98122) between 1:00-3:00pm any day this week, and not only will you get a hefty dose of holiday cheer, you’ll be able to fill your stocking with treats, festively-flavored coffee and $20 gift cards for new Uber customers. Where else can you get free dessert, coffee and coupons in one fell swoop? If you haven’t used Uber before, one of those sweet credits will make getting home safely from your company’s holiday party even cheaper. I’ll be using mine to get to the airport this weekend. (Light Rail, I love you, but I can’t deal with your shenanigans when I’m toting two weeks worth of luggage with me during rush hour).

Have you used Uber before? How are you getting to and from this weeks’ festivities? Drop us a line on Twitter, Facebook or in the comment section below!
