If you’re reading this, it probably means you survived Thanksgiving- congratulations! You didn’t overdose on stuffing or murder your overly judgmental aunt after one too many snide remarks about what you’re doing with your life. You deserve a present for that kind of accomplishment. Thankfully (see, we’re still all Thanksgiving-spirited around here) today is Cyber Monday, the day when you simultaneously do your part to stimulate the economy and waste your employer’s valuable time while shopping online during work hours. Here’s a round-up of some places where MY money is bleeding out to that doesn’t start with amazon.com.

- You can shop local AND online! My favorite boutique in Seattle, SPUN Collective, is offering 20% off EVERYTHING today only when you enter the code “CYBERMONDAY.” Your life will be so much better after you get yourself a Reversible Shift Dress. Trust me.
- Melvita, the makers of the AWESOME Ultra-Nourishing Body Balm with 3 Honeys that we gave away a few weeks ago (plus an entire line of other amazing products), is offering FREE shipping today. Check out their holiday value sets!
- Um, there’s a sale on cupcakes at Cupcake Royale. Order now for holiday parties and general gluttony. (Don’t forget- Mondays mean Decorate It Yourself Happy Hours!)
- Also in the realm of tasty deliciousness- consider getting somebody you love (or yourself) something from Foodzie.com. This online emporium of handmade deliciousness has a ton of specials today, and I can’t recommend their Tasting Box as basically the yummiest gift idea EVER.
- Another monthly gift subscription idea I’m obsessed with is Umba Box. Perfect for lovers of all things handmade, Umba Box delivers a monthly sampler of home goods, women’s accessories, jewelry, stationery, and bath products to your doorstep for just $26 a month. No special deals here, but it may be the perfect gift idea for just about anyone.
- What’s about a thousand times better than the smelly soaps you buy at the mall? Natural, handmade soap, aromatherapy products and skin care goodies from beautanical. Enter SHIPFREE at checkout and you’ll get free shipping on everything my friend Sarah sells! The Bath Salt Sampler Pack may be just what YOU need to deal with holiday stress.
- Speaking of handmade, even if you couldn’t make the Etsy Rain sale this weekend, there are still lots of opportunities to support local artisans! The Urban Craft Uprising happens this weekend (perfect for me to do some birthday shopping for myself!) and Capitol Hill Seattle blog has a great list of local vendors offering special discounts today only (huge shout-out to Annie Two Braids, our favorite purveyor of etched glass goods).

Laptop Lunches just started offering a holiday deal on their bento sets which I’ll be picking up. My family has been using their products for year and we love them: http://www.laptoplunches.com! They’re also a small business and their bento sets are made in the USA!
