It’s Voting Time: Do it

Okay, personally I have mixed feelings about voting in general. My mind tells me to do it, but sometimes my heart says, “Why? Who is this guy/girl? Am I voting between 2 evils? What’s the friggin’ point if in a year we’ll be voting on the same exact issue again and again and again?” And then there are some moments in life when it all makes sense (re: Women voting, Gay marriage in New York, slowly but surely legalizing pot).

So without cluttering today’s post with my personal thoughts and feelings, I’ll just leave you with some decent resources to help you get your vote on (or off). Take them for what they’re worth. And remember, voting is FREE! And thanks to technology, we Washingtonians don’t even have to enter a polling line to do it. Heck, we don’t even have to get out of our house:

-Here are the ballot drop off points.

-Here is where you can watch everything live.

-Here’s The Stranger’s views on the ballot.

-And here’s some information on Spirits Tasting that happen on Fridays or Saturdays, for the next year!

Know of any bars or stores doing big voting specials for today? Let us know. Comment below or tell us on Facebook or Twitter. Even if it’s to say, “I voted!” We’d love to hear from you.
