Dishcrawl Seattle: Eat the Best of Broadway for $29!

Some people use to-do lists to manage their productivity. I use mine to manage my dining. I want to try all the amazing restaurants that Seattle has to offer, but not only is it overwhelming, it’s also really expensive. So whenever I happen upon a chance to eat delicious food at bargain prices, I’m in. Hence my excitement over the existence of Dishcrawl Seattle, where $29 buys you food at 4 undisclosed-but-sure-to-be-amazing eateries, all chosen by one of my favorite Seattle food bloggers, Monica of www.TastyFeast.com.

Dishcrawl isn’t a new concept- it’s been tried and tested in numerous cities, including Portland, New York City, San Francisco and Montreal. The concept is simple- a limited number of tickets are sold (usually between 50 and 100) and a date and approximate starting location are announced. On the given date (tickets are currently being sold for November 22), Dishcrawlers converge and eat there way through hand-selected restaurants. The actual locations are a surprise, but if you follow Monica on twitter @feistyfeaster, you know that this woman has some seriously good taste. The $29 ticket covers all the food you eat- the only additional cost for you is any booze you drink. Which, at this price, you can totally afford.

So check your calendar, grab some hungry friends and buy a ticket for November 22′s cruise down Broadway Ave. in Capitol Hill. For less than the cost of your average night out, you can cross 4 delicious restaurants off your culinary to-do list. Monica couldn’t tell me exactly where you’ll be eating, but she did send some pretty enticing hints, specifically saying that one stop is at a spot that has been open for a month and is getting some seriously gushing reviews of their hand-crafted cocktails and food. I have my suspicions, but I’ll let you make your own assumptions.

Thanksgiving is coming up, which may mean that you are about to put in some seriously awkward family time in. Why not treat yourself to a night out with other food-obsessed folks?
