It can’t be sunny for the whole weekend, right? It’s impossible. INCONCEIVABLE! And yet, every Tom, Dick and Harry says it’s true!!! And it might even last beyond the weekend this time. It could very well last for 2 whole weeks. I’m getting a little teary just thinking of all the summery things I can do. So while I ponder about bike rides, applying sunscreen and pools filled with kids here’s some stuff for you to do over the weekend:
-Head to the zoo and get $5 off in honor of Western Pond Turtle Recovery Project.
-South Lake Union is getting in on the movies outside action. On Friday, sit back and enjoy Kick Ass.
-And on the Capitol Hill side, get your freak on with Xanadu at Cal Anderson tonight.
-Seafair is slowly approaching, but before you celebrate America with crazy low-flying planes head to the free Magnolia Summerfest and Art Show.
-Need some flea market finds that you won’t find at Fremont on a Sunday? Head to The Comet, come with a hangover, shop around and enjoy a bloody mary at a special price.
-Is it me or is it like every part of town knew this weekend would be sunny and awesome? Ballard is having a Summer Field Day – and everyone should go.
-And finally, to start the weekend off right you’ll need to eat. So head to Whole Foods on Friday for their super sale on some really yummy Alaska Troll-Caught Coho Salmon.
