If you haven’t gone to Marination Mobile do yourself a favor, wait a little too long in line and get yourself some yummy eats. I’ve had a few things off the menu and everything is quite delicious. The mastermind behind the food truck is none other than Drew Airone, who now is the chef at Whole Foods Market in Roosevelt Square.
Airone, who has been working in the Seattle culinary world since 2004, started his training at Seattle Culinary Academy and soon after created Marination Mobile, which became an instant hit. Now that he’s at the Salud! kitchen in Whole Foods, his aim is to create a center of fun, learning and community.
So why am I telling you this whole spiel? Well, because on Thursday, between 4-7pm you can meet the mastermind and eat his tasty tacos for FREE at the Whole Foods Market Roosevelt Square. Not because it’s tax day or because it’s free cilantro day or anything like that. Whole Foods Market just wants you to actually talk to the chef, ask him questions about food and eat what he prepares best – totally tasty tacos for free!
Are you sure your facts are correct? Drew the mastermind behind the food truck? The masterminds are Kamala and Roz.

Yes, he was the chef but far from the mastermind.
@Mike, we weren’t talking about the mastermind behind all food trucks. Although, having a pro wrestler behind the taco truck trend would be quite the sell.
We meant the mastermind behind Marination Mobile specifically. Sorry if we confused anyone.
I think you still misunderstood. In your blog you write:
“Airone, who has been working in the Seattle culinary world since 2004, started his training at Seattle Culinary Academy and soon after created Marination Mobile, which became an instant hit.”
He did NOT create Marination Mobile. He was the chef. He might be a mastermind at being a chef but not creating or behind Marination Mobile. I just wanted you to know who created Marination Mobile.
