Post Holiday Fun: The 18th Annual Gingerbread Village

If you’re back at work, you’re probably still recovering from all the holiday hoopla. Your mind might be wondering off to all those presents you got, or dealing with your drunk Uncle or that extra cookie you shouldn’t have eaten.

Well, here’s your chance to take a long lunch break and get away from another mindless morning where nothing is really going on until January anyway. Just head to The Sheraton in downtown and enjoy the 18th Annual Gingerbread Village. Open 24 hours until January 2nd, the gingerbread houses are nothing like what you made in kindergarten. Instead, these are made by actual architects where the theme for this year’s competition is “Home for the Holidays.”

So, bring the kids after work or just go to get away from your boss until the New Year. You can even vote for your favorite right here. And of course, it’s all free!
