Weekend Round-Up: 12/17-12/19

If you’re not ditching work early or going to holiday parties or getting groped by TSA, then sit back, relax and find out what else you can do this weekend:

-Saturday’s Bizarre Bazaar in Greenlake should be a fun way to get that last minute holiday shopping done.

-Once again, Vain is having a special Saturday filled with 20% savings on locally-made hair accessories, Ballard Organics and free chocolate tastings by Theo Chocolate.

-Check out Albert von Keller’s interesting work at the Frye Art Museum totally free.

-Get some free fries and polaroids of Santa at Pike Street Fish Fry tonight (Friday) from 5-8pm.

-Go to Century Ballroom’s West Hall to see White Christmas on Friday at 8pm, for free!

-When you head out to Steven’s Pass for some snow shredding, make sure to also make your reservations to the scenic hot springs that are nearby. $5 gets you in and I, for one, have been waiting for a sunny day to do this and scratch it off my never-ending list. I will report back when I actually do this.

-Wanna hear Microsoft sing? Well, apparently the Redmond folks actually have an orchestra and they’re putting on a free winter concert at the Seattle Center on Friday at 7:30pm. I know, I’m shocked too.

-The Seattle Flute Choir will perform during Winterfest at 12:30pm on Sunday.

And that’s about it. Well, actually I lied – that can’t be it. In fact, if you know of other free or cheap things to do, let Yay-Today know! Tell us on Twitter, Facebook or leave a comment below. We always love hearing from our readers. Oh yes we do. Thanks and have a great weekend.
