Did anyone else try to get to SODO yesterday during 2010′s winter “storm”? Nope, just me. Lesson learned. I will either play games at home or go to a spa during our next snow day. And you should too:
- Check out Blue Highway Games and stock up on some puzzles and lots of cool games that’ll remind you of those D&D days back in school. Even if you don’t buy anything there, you can go and still test whatever game they have on site for as long as you want. You can easily waste hours taking in the heat while kicking butt at Settlers.
- Soak in some hot tubs and drink tea with jam at Banya 5. If you love Hot House or Olympus, be warned you have to keep your bathing suit ON at this spa, but the plus side is that it’s coed. That means you can get steamy with the opposite sex, if you so choose (just keep your hands to yourself though, it’s not THAT kind of place). Or just stare at a bunch of chicks/dudes sweat. On Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 10-2pm, you get half off your entrance or it’s free when you book a spa treatment. So if you need some quality time with the one you love (aka, get your boyfriend away from the computer/TV/phone), or with a friend or just by yourself then come here to relax, let off some steam and stay warm.
