The Big (Free) Yoga Class: Stretch, Sweat, Save

Urban Yoga Spa is one of my favorite yoga studios in Seattle.  It’s exceptionally clean (which is REALLY important when you’re doing downward dog in a heated room with 30 other people), the teachers are excellent, and they show some love for all financial situations- they offer donation-based classes on weekends and have a program that lets you trade service, like cleaning the studio, for class credits.

Maybe it’s because of all this good karma that Urban Yoga Spa is so popular- in fact, they are doubling the size of their studio beginning this Saturday, October 2nd.  To celebrate this big expansion, they’re offering a FREE yoga class to celebrate! The Big Yoga Class will be 90 minutes of yoga bliss set to the sound of live DJ’s taught by 3 of their most popular instructors.

If you’re already a yoga afficianado, definitely check out Urban Yoga Spa.  It might just be your favorite new studio.  And if you’ve been waiting for the perfect excuse to give it a whirl, then I’m pretty sure that a FREE class takes care of that.  To reserve a space for your FREE yoga class, visit www.urbanyogaspa.com or email them at info@urbanyogaspa.com.

PS: They will be accepting donations on Sunday for Rotary First Harvest, so if you can spare a couple of bucks to help fund a good cause and put some food in hungry bellies, you should!

Update: Due to the popularity of this class so far, UYS is recommending that you show up an hour early even if you RSVP and bring your own mat.  (I recommend grabbing a cup of tea at nearby Yellow Leaf Cupcakes while you wait!)  They are also opening up the invite for an afterparty at Assiaggo Ristorante immediately after the class, so stick around for FREE healthy food post-sweat!
