If you read yay-today, you are probably a bit of a dealhound- that’s kind of what we’re all about. So you probably subscribe to all of the daily discount sites out there- the offers that come in our mailbox every day from Groupon, Living Social, DealPop and more are pretty fantastic. Now TravelZoo is entering the field with their own local discounts.
I check TravelZoo almost daily to keep abreast of cheap, last-minute offers on travel- you should too, especially if you spend half as much time fantasizing about escapes to warm weather as I do from September to April. Now their Local Deals feature is branching out into local escapes, with a limited number of offers to Seattle businesses.
What makes TravelZoo’s Local Deals noteworthy? The coupons are capped, so hopefully businesses won’t get overrun by out of control offers, and it’s offered by a site you should have bookmarked already. This way, you can make plans for a cheap date- like purchasing the $20 certificate to Hunger, a new Mediterranean small plates restaurant in Fremont, that entitles you to $40 worth of food and 2 glasses of sangria- and start plotting your next weekend getaway. Perfect!
Appreicate your thoughts, I’m not always in agreement, but you do cause a peron to think… keep blogging!
