Smash Putt: Miniature Golf. For Nerds. With Booze.

Raise your hand if you are a fan of any of the following:

  • Miniature Golf
  • Robots
  • Physics
  • Things that explode
  • Beer

If any of these things sound appealing to you, then you need to check out Smash Putt, a pop-up mini-golf course/science experiment gone mad.  Instead of your clichéd windmills and drawbridges, Smash Putt features a course designed by some truly gifted nerds filled with robotic obstacles that move, scramble, shake and sometimes shoot.

Smash Putt only happens on weekends and wraps everything up on Sunday, October 17th.  The course is located in the historic INS Building in Georgetown (easy to get to via Light Rail!) and features a bar (because if you’re a terrible golfer like me, you need something to make you THINK you’re not that bad).

Buy your tickets ($11=$15) in advance!  And don’t miss this awesome event- it only happens once a year.
