If you really want to celebrate this venerated date properly, then you have no excuse NOT to head to The Swinery in West Seattle, where they are giving away FREE Bacon Chocolate Chip Cookies to celebrate!
The Swinery will also be offering their extremely porcino-centric weekend brunch menu, so you can get a hearty meal in before your free cookie. Offerings include bacon burgers, lard biscuits and lots and lots of gravy. And if you really love your cookie, you can buy the cookie dough to take home for bacon emergencies.
