Seattle has a lot to brag about, but one of our favorite things about the city is the plethora of farmers markets that you can find around our fair city. This weekend I was honored to write a guest post on one of my favorite blogs, Summer Tomato. Summer Tomato is the brainchild of Darya Pinyo, a scientist/food-enthusiast who writes about nutrition and sensible good health with a special emphasis on the importance of local, farmer’s market produce. (Evidently, you’re more likely to eat vegetables if they actually taste good- who’d have thunk?)
So when Darya put out a call for a Seattle guest blogger to blog/brag about the farmers markets in our area, I jumped at the chance. You can read my recap of the goodies at the U-District Farmers Market here. And if you are interested in amazing food, delicious cooking tips and information on how to maintain your own healthstyle, make sure you read Summer Tomato and follow her Twitter!
(I should probably remind you to follow yay-today on Twitter as well. We post even more deals and discounts there! And like us on Facebook too, since we’re awesome like that.)
