Weekend Round-Up: 8/27-8/29

Will it still be summer this weekend? Maybe. Maybe not. Either way, there’s stuff to do so throw on a bathing suit or your scarf and get to it:

  • Jansport just got cool with a scavenger hunt that’ll lead you to see The Cave Singers for free on Saturday. Check out the bus stop hints for secret clues!
  • The Dusty 45s will be doing their part at the Out to Lunch Concert Series, for free at The Harbor Steps this Friday at noon.
  • The SAM Remix is happening Friday night at Olympic Sculpture Park.  Tickets (which include 1 drink on the house) are $15 a head, $12 for members.  If you have time to kill and LOVE bright colors, line up early because the first 50 people who show up wearing neon get in for free.
  • Northwest Film Forum is hosting the 5th Annual Seattle Bike-In. Head to Cal Anderson this Saturday at 7pm to see, what else? Pee Wee’s Big Adventure!
  • Seattle University is hosting their Concert for the Community this Saturday. Print out the form for your free ticket.
  • Enjoy some Night Market fun times at Hing Hay Park.

And just because we’re sick of using bullet points, there’s also Big Day of Play, Sew Up Seattle, even more movies at Cal Anderson, Wine Tasting at the friggin’ Zoo, Vegan Doughnuts at the Urban Rest Stop and if that’s not all – Rat City Roller Girls is having a flash mob!

Holy crap, I’m already exhausted. Enjoy the weekend, folks.
