Tom Douglas is the mastermind behind some of Seattle’s most delicious restaurants, but a meal at the likes of Dahlia Lounge definitely doesn’t come cheap. But this Saturday, August 28th, he’s hosting a fundraiser picnic Steinbrueck Park (next to Pike Place Market) with a really fantastic name- Salmon-Chanted Evening- where you can chow down on fresh salmon, salads and dessert, all prepared by this world-famous chef for only $15!
Salmon-Chanted Evening is the first of what Douglas hopes to be a semi-regular summer event. Even better, all proceeds to go to a good cause (the Seattle Parks department and Pike Place Senior Center), so you know that you’ll be filling your belly and helping out the community at the same time.
