This Thursday, August 26, Capitol Hill kicks off it’s 4-day long Summer Sale with Mobile City, a celebration of the local food, businesses and walkability that define Seattle’s most eclectic neighborhood.
Mobile City, hosted by The Adventure School and Molly Moon’s Homemade Ice Cream, is a free outdoor party featuring the best street eats in the city (Via Tribulani and Rancho Bravo are already signed up to be there) and steep discounts from local vendors like Laughing Buddha, Atlas Clothing and Marigold and Mint. You can shop and eat while listening to a bunch of free music. What could be better?
Once Mobile City concludes though, the fun isn’t over. The Capitol Hill Summer Sale continues through Sunday and features discounts from even more businesses. So whether you’re looking for a new yoga class at 8 Limbs Yoga or some new playthings from Babeland, do not miss the festivities this weekend.
Mobile City will be headquartered at 10th Ave E and E Thomas (the same place where the Broadway Farmer’s Market takes place on Sundays). The Summer Sale will take place all along Broadway, Pike and Pine.
