Ballard is home to several of Seattle’s most popular summer festivals, but thankfully, not all of them involve Viking hats and smoked fish. The 45th Annual Ballard Sidewalk Sale starts Thursday, July 22 is the perfect weekend activity option for anybody who needs a little more in the way of retail therapy and a little less in the way of references to Leif Erikson.
