It’s hip to be square

Short Story: Seattle Square is a new, all-day summer market in the heart of Pioneer Square.

Starting Saturday, July 17th, Pioneer Square will play host to a brand new outdoor market called Seattle Square from 11:00 am – 5:00 pm.  Located in Occidental Square, Seattle Square will be home to vendors selling vintage goods, crafty wonders, vintage furniture, jewelry and other pretty things and a wide variety of food options.

So whether you’ve been combing the city looking for the perfect refurbished mid-century modern dining table or just can’t wait to try some of Ram and Rooster’s dumplings (and then have some Parfait Ice Cream for dessert), take some time on Saturday and swing by Seattle Square.  You’ll smile in the sunshine, reconnect with some of the oldest buildings in the city, and perhaps even buy yourself a well-deserved new necklace.  Find a list of vendors and sponsors on their blog.

Update: We just received word that one of our favorite local crafters, Emily from Tako Fibers, will be there selling her gorgeous modern embroidery kits!  Stop by her booth and support a yay-today favorite!
